Last Land is inspired by frozen plains and dusty desert majesty. Maria Nilsson Waller reconstructs the vast scale and unpredictability of these contrasting landscapes in a highly physical, poetic work that invites us to consider the urgency of tectonic movement and the accelerating rhythms of nature and climate change. In award-winning Fabrizio Favale's solo, Il gioco del gregge di capre, the dynamics of goats flocking are seen and re-imagined with the clashing of horns and the crashing of hooves.

Missing, by Mad Dogs Dance Theatre, sees a couple struggling with the sudden loss of their child and faced with living in a world where nothing feels meaningful. This experience has made them strangers to each other and the world around them. Bird’s Eye View is the mesmerising and playful journey of a solitary explorer in a highly visionary landscape. A pioneer or a survivor, she embodies a witty and breathtaking physical trip, teetering between human and animal states.
AVATÂRA AYUSO, GIORGIA NARDIN, AND AOIFE MCATAMNEY / DISH DANCE, UNHOLY TRINITY

Unholy Trinity is a provocative and powerful triple bill of feisty solos. Avatâra Ayuso's iconic Salome is inspired by the passion and contradictions of that incredible, mythical woman. Dolly, by the amazing Giorgia Nardin, investigates automatism. Her body is manoeuvred – it’s a rented form, the occupant does not own it. She gives in to being ornamental and becomes bare flesh. Charismatic Aoife McAtamney's Softer Swells is inspired by a poem about memory, this is a high-energy piece filled with Irish cultural undertones, beautiful music and intense physicality.

Giulio is 31 and choreographer, Stefano, is 63 and has Parkinson’s Disease. Father and son tell you a universal tale about the power between father and child. Bodies speak words that were never said. Their mouths shape the memories of both joy and sadness. Two different lives, a generation apart. Parkin’Son is about being a father and a son, about ageing, about staying young, about cars, and also a little bit about Jimmy Fontana. Presented as part of the inaugural Big in Belgium season of work at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Europa, a beautiful Phoenician princess, is abducted by Zeus, disguised as a bull, who takes her on a perilous journey over the Mediterranean to Crete. A new play and exhibition will link Mediterranean and Celtic culture, and trace the imagery of Europa and the bull from classical frescoes to painters like Titian and Picasso or even the branding of fast cars and energy drinks. This poetic retelling of the ancient myth reveals how the tensions between Eastern sophistication and Western vitality engender a vibrant European identity. By Salvatore Cabras (playtext) and Maggie Rose (prologue and dramaturgy).
